- A display connected to your device (e.g., monitor, TV, digital signage display)
- Not required if using a browser in the display.

- A stable internet connection.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare Your Device
- Turn on your device and ensure it is connected to the internet.
- Connect your device to the display where you want to show your Signital content.
- Not required if using a browser in the display.
- Ensure the web browser on your device is updated to the latest version for optimal performance.
Step 2: Access Signital in the Browser
- Open your preferred web browser on your device.
- Navigate to https://signital.app/player (opens in a new tab).
- The Signital web player will load and display a 6-digit code on the screen.
Step 3: Launch and Configure
- If you have already created a display in Signital:
- Go to your Displays page (opens in a new tab) and select your display.
- Click the Connect button.
- If you have not created a display:
- Go to the Displays page (opens in a new tab).
- Click Create New Display, fill in the required details, and then click Connect.
- In the Connect Dialog:
- Select the Web Browser option.
- Enter the 6-digit code displayed on your device.
- Click Connect.
- Your device should now be connected to your Signital display.
- The content assigned to the display will start showing on your screen.
Optional: Enable Full-Screen Mode
For the best viewing experience, set your browser to full-screen mode:
- Windows: Press
F11
to enter or exit full-screen mode. - macOS: Press
Control + Command + F
or click the green full-screen button at the top-left corner of the window. - Browser Menu: In most browsers, you can click on the menu (three dots or lines) and select Full Screen or Presentation Mode.
Troubleshooting
- 6-Digit Code Not Displayed:
- Refresh the browser page.
- Check your internet connection.
- Content Not Displaying After Connection:
- Ensure you have assigned content to the display in your Signital account and make sure you have published the changes.
- Refresh the browser page.
- Browser Compatibility Issues:
- Update your web browser to the latest version.
- Try using a different web browser.
- Display Issues:
- Check the connection between your device and the display.
- Ensure the display is set to the correct input source.
- Player is not showing the same content as the portal preview player:
- Your browser may be out of date and not supporting the latest web technologies. Try updating your browser or using a different browser.
- Opening the player URL in an outdated browser will load our legacy player to ensure that you can still display basic content, such as images and videos, but it does not support all the features available in the latest player.
