This is a detailed step-by-step guide to setting up the Signital app on your Raspberry Pi device.

Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:
- A Raspberry Pi device (Raspberry Pi 3 Model B or newer recommended).
- A microSD card (minimum 8GB recommended).
- A monitor or display connected to the Raspberry Pi.
- A keyboard and mouse (optional but helpful for setup).
- An active Signital account (opens in a new tab).
- A stable internet connection for your Raspberry Pi.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare Your Raspberry Pi
- Ensure your Raspberry Pi is powered off.
- Have your microSD card ready.
Step 2: Download and Flash the Signital Image

Download the Signital Raspberry Pi Image:
- On your computer, download the Signital Raspberry Pi image (opens in a new tab).

Download and Install Etcher:
- Download Etcher from balenaEtcher official website (opens in a new tab).
- Install Etcher on your computer.

Flash the Image to the microSD Card:
- Insert your microSD card into your computer using a card reader.
- Open Etcher.
- Click Flash from file and select the Signital Raspberry Pi image you downloaded.
- Select your microSD card as the target device.
- Click Flash! to begin the process.
- Wait for the flashing process to complete and safely eject the microSD card.

Insert the microSD Card into Raspberry Pi:
- Insert the microSD card into the Raspberry Pi's card slot.
Step 3: Launch and Configure

Power On the Raspberry Pi:
- Connect the Raspberry Pi to a power source.
- The device will boot up automatically.

Connect to the Internet:
- Ethernet: Ensure the network cable is connected.
- Wi-Fi:
- The Signital image will prompt you to select a Wi-Fi network.
- Choose your network and enter the password.

Display the 6-Digit Code:
- After booting, the Signital app will start automatically and display a 6-digit code on the screen.

Connect the Device to Your Signital Account:
- If you have already created a display:
- Go to your Displays page (opens in a new tab) and select the display.
- Click the Connect button.
- If you have not created a display:
- Go to the Displays page (opens in a new tab).
- Click Create New Display, fill in the details and create the display, and then click Connect.
- If you have already created a display:

In the Connect Dialog:
- Select the Raspberry Pi option.
- Enter the 6-digit code displayed on your device.
- Click Connect.

Complete Setup:
- Your Raspberry Pi is now connected to your Signital display.
- The content assigned to the display will start showing on your screen.
Troubleshooting

Signital App Doesn't Start:
- Ensure the microSD card was flashed correctly.
- Try re-flashing the image to the microSD card.

No Display or Black Screen:
- Check HDMI connections and ensure the display is turned on.
- Verify that the Raspberry Pi is receiving power.

No Internet Connection:
- Reconfigure your network settings.
- For Wi-Fi, ensure you're connected to the correct network and the password is correct.

- Restart the Raspberry Pi.
